GAME: FINANCIAL STOCKS
We developed a mobile game with a search for hidden objects to reactivate inactive Alfa-Bank investors. Game mechanics have helped increase the frequency of transactions with brokerage accounts and improve the financial literacy of bank customers
A game with hidden object mechanics reminiscent of Where's Wally?. Players find and collect securities hidden among other objects in illustrations, the number of which is known in advance. The game combines entertaining content and training in investment terms, motivating you to take regular action
There are 10 secret items hidden in the game, and each level is designed in a comic style. At the end of the game, users received investment advice or an interesting fact that motivated them to return to the game 4-5 times a day, confirming their high engagement

How they came up with the idea for the game
We figured out why we need a game and what the customer wants to get. In the Alfa-Bank project, we found out that the task is to wake up “sleeping” investors. These are the ones who opened brokerage accounts but never started using them. The goal is to make sure that they make transactions on a brokerage account at least once a month.
We included creativity. No criticism, just a stream of ideas: game formats, associations, mechanics

Mechanics
We were inspired by Where's Wally?. Its essence is to find the main character: simple, fun and captivating from the first click. We thought: what if instead of Wally, players search for securities among the objects in the pictures? This became the basis for the future game.
To move to the next level, you need to complete tasks: find two objects on the map, and then solve the riddle to find the third object in the illustration. After each level completed, the user receives advice and a cash bonus.
To make it even easier to play, we developed a hint system. This way the person won't quit the game, will complete the level to the end and want to come back the next day.

Stylistics
We took comics as a basis (bright colors, mosaic illustrations with a black outline) and added locations where the hero travels and performances tasks.
We drew 35 colorful locations and technical screens with references to pop culture to immerse players in the familiar atmosphere of iconic films, evoke emotions and increase engagement. They used characters from the films “The Wolf of Wall Street”, “The Short Game”, “The Matrix”, “Harry Potter” and “Sherlock Holmes”
